Supporting Mental Health After Displacement, Crisis or Conflict
Peace Collective, with support from Thrive LDN and funding from the Mayor of London, is running a small pilot fund to support grassroots organisations helping people affected by war, crisis or displacement.
This fund builds on findings from our recent review of mental health support in London. We heard clearly that care often happens outside formal services, through shared meals, cultural events, faith spaces, storytelling, or creative groups. These everyday activities offer safety, connection and emotional support.
We’re offering funding of up to £1,500 to help community organisations continue or repeat this kind of work. Around 12 projects will be supported.
The fund is open to small charities, grassroots groups and informal networks based in London, with an annual income under £300,000. Activities must already be happening or ready to go, this fund is not for new or speculative ideas. Funding can cover things like venue hire, food, materials or staff time.
As part of this pilot, we’ll also be sharing short case studies of supported projects to help share learning and inspire others through the Thrive LDN website.
